este novo trabalho deve ficar pronto no dia 9 de Dezembro e os dois implicados no trabalho devem estar presentes na altura da apresentação;

“Sympathy (or empathy) is the base of intellectuality, and its driving force. It is in the home that the connections between sympathy and intellect can most clearly be seen and are most clearly sought after. A home that is perceived as “sterile”, without sympathy, seems to us not a home at all. A home is a welcoming shelter, isn’t it? If it is hermetically sealed against the world it is more stupid prison than shelter. Despite superficial cultural or architectural differences, from one end of the world to another, home is profoundly the same. I will therefore use my own home as a model for this project.”

O FESTIVAL…

Com edições anuais desde 1976, o CINANIMA é o mais antigo festival português de cinema em atividade, sendo uma iniciativa da Cooperativa Nascente, uma associação cultural que promove atividades várias e para diversos públicos.
No CINANIMA não há só filmes. Os seus workshops e masterclasses são sempre muito apreciados, e por eles passaram ao longo dos anos muitos daqueles que viriam a tornar-se nomes bem conhecidos da animação em Portugal.
O CINANIMA é um Festival com uma forte vertente competitiva. Todos os vencedores de prémios no CINANIMA ficam automaticamente apurados para o concurso europeu de melhor filme de animação, o “Cartoon D’Or”, organizado pela CARTOON – European Association of Animated Film. E o vencedor do Grande Prémio fica apurado para o pré-concurso às nomeações para o Oscar de animação.
O Festival é, desde meados dos anos 80, co-organizado pela Câmara Municipal de Espinho, e conta com os apoios institucionais da Secretaria de Estado da Cultura e do Instituto do Cinema e Audiovisual.

THE FESTIVAL…

Since 1976 CINANIMA is being held every year and is the oldest Portuguese film festival and is organised by Nascente, a cultural association that promotes activities for the different types of audience.
CINANIMA is not only films. Its workshops and masterclasses have always been one of the highlights and throughout the years many were the Portuguese directors who attended them. CINANIMA has a strong competitive section. All the winners are automatically on the list for the Golden Cartoon for the best European animation film, which is organised by CARTOON – European Association of Animated Film. The winner of the Grand Prize is on the run for the short list for the Oscar nominations for the best animation short film.
Since mid 80’s the Festival is co-organised with the City Hall with the institutional support of the State Secretary of Culture and Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual.
